Kevin Nordahl has been actively selling Door County real estate for clients and customers for over twenty years. His sales experience has spanned all sectors and locales in the Door County real estate market including residential homes, condominiums, vacant land and commercial real estate. "I returned home to Door County after graduating at UW-Madison in '93 and knew this is where I belonged. I got into real estate shortly after college and I have been working at it full-time ever since." Kevin earned his Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) and Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) accreditations with the National Association of REALTORS® in 2004-05. In 2006, he obtained his Broker credentials from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services and opened his own real estate office in June of 2007 DBA True North Real Estate. Little did Kevin know at the time that the distinctive True North Real Estate brand identity and locally oriented mission that he defined would attract the talent and professionalism of four of his best friends in the business. Together in 2008 they partnered to build up what is now the most productive real estate agency in Door County - True North Real Estate, LLC. Prior to founding True North, Kevin was a Senior Associate at another Door County agency, where he was recognized as a Top Producer and achieved over $50M in sales and listing volume. Kevin serves on the Door County Land Trust Board of Directors - a local land preservation non-profit. He is a Past President and board member of the Sturgeon Bay Rotary International Club where he was twice recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow for charitable giving. Kevin is a past Chairperson for the Door County Attainable Housing Committee and an alumnus of Leadership Door County. He has served on numerous committees within the Door County Board of REALTORS® and its Multiple Listing Service (MLS), including President of the Board from 2003 to 2005. He has also served at the state level on the Wisconsin REALTOR® Association Fair Housing Board of Directors. Kevin shares an historic Baileys Harbor farmstead with his wife Karen, their two children and two Siberian Huskies. When not working, he spends as much time as possible enjoying the waters of Door County by sailboat. His passion for global travel has led him to English literature studies in London, motorcycling in the Bavarian Alps and bareboat sailing the Islands of the Caribbean. Kevin enjoys helping his clients find their place here as well. “It is truly a delight when I can help those who have spent years building family traditions in Door County find their special place and make homeownership their reality,” he says.
