True North Real Estate, a locally owned independent boutique brokerage located in Fish Creek, had another record setting year in 2021. For the second year in a row, True North’s cumulative sales surpassed $100 million! Owned by partners Jacinda Duffin, Sara Glenn, Dan Mortier, Kevin Nordahl, and Brian Reinhardt, True North has been the top producing brokerage (by sales dollar volume) in northern Door County since 2012. With a community-minded focus on responsible development, social services, and environmental protection, True North is proud to be a supporter and steward of the True Door County experience.
Among the many donations True North Real Estate made to local charitable organizations in 2021, the Partnership gave $2,000 to the Door County Medical Center Foundation toward funding accessible dental care for low-income individuals and those without dental insurance. The clinic also partners to provide dental sealants in schools, promoting dental health and preventing tooth decay in children.
“It’s immensely gratifying to support so many important causes, but the DCMC Foundation’s focus on healthcare for the underprivileged really spoke to us in this second year of the pandemic, when there’s so much need in our local community,” said partner Sara Glenn.
The True North partners traditionally pick one major donation recipient per year (past years have included the Door County Land Trust, Northern Sky Theater, the United Way, and others) but we also make substantial annual gifts to the Door County Community Foundation, the Boy & Girls Club, the Humane Society, HELP of Door County, the Fish Creek Civic Association, Habitat for Humanity, Crossroads at Big Creek, Door County Secret Santa, the Door County Housing Partnership, The Pink Classic – Sue Baldwin Fund, Friends of Gibraltar, the Door County Maritime Museum, Good Samaritan/Scandia Village, and more.
While True North Real Estate is entering its 15th year of brokerage service and community stewardship, among the past year’s highlights, True North partner Jacinda Duffin represented the buyer in the acquisition of the Alpine Resort & Golf Course in Egg Harbor, the team celebrated its fifth year in the new downtown Fish Creek office, and Maria Jacobs joined the True North sales force. “It’s been a great past year and we look forward to serving this community for a long time to come” added Glenn.
