While attending law school in Brazil, Maria took a one-year break and traveled to Door County to work and expand her horizons. Even though she found Door County by chance, it changed her life. After going back home and graduating in 2006, Maria moved to Door County and never looked back. Jacobs joined True North Real Estate in 2021, where she harnesses her skills learned as a law student and incorporates the many abilities she has acquired throughout the years working in customer service, marketing, and as a legal assistant. Maria's invaluable guidance is characterized by clear and effective communication, genuine care, and attention to detail. Her comprehensive knowledge of Door County, contracts, and negotiation, along with her personalized approach, ensures that each client receives expert services and tailored solutions to meet their unique real estate needs. Maria Jacobs has been granted the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) symbol, which shows her high level of professional service and strong educational foundation. Maria has completed the Accredited Buyer's Representative designation (ABR®), the Seller Representative Specialist designation (SRS), and the Pricing Strategy Advisor certification (PSA). Maria Jacobs received the 2022 Excellence in Professionalism award from the Door County Board of REALTORS, where she acts as a Director and member of various Committees, such as the Marketing Committee (acting as Chair), Education Committee, Advocacy Committee, and Professional Standards Committee. She is also involved with the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association as a member of the Legal Action Committee.
